Merry Christmas!

I know it’s early, but I decided to take the next week off and enjoy a little time with my family and friends. So check back after Christmas for farm updates, photos and whatever else comes up while I’m not blogging…there always seems to be something!!

So for Photo Friday, Christmas style, here are some photos from our Christmas Tree Hunting adventure.

Happy Thanksgiving

I will make this short, as I know we are all busy this week. Getting food prepared, making plans with family, traveling to see those we love…basically it’s all good stuff and it makes me so thankful. And boy do I have so much to be thankful for this year! I know though that if you’re at all like me, you understand how easy it is a get sidetracked of what really matters in life; I’m looking forward to some great low key family time to remember just that.

As I promised, I’ll keep it short. Happy Thanksgiving and wishing you all a great day with family and friends, full of taking a step back to look and see how truly lucky we all are in our lives!

Elk Hunting Trip

Life for these farmers is slowing down a bit on the farm front. So we snuck away for awhile with Hoot to go see if we couldn’t find some elk to put in our freezer.

We didn’t see too many elk, but the friends and good times made up for that. Plus we had a great first trip with our little man.

We had a great time in beautiful Ashwood thanks to some great friends who have a beautiful place to call their “Little House on the Prairie”
