Lucky to be a Farmer & a Mom

I’m feeling pretty lucky today. I took a few photos while I was out fertilizing our wheat.

I quickly realized how lucky I am to have this be my view many days of the year!

And I also scrolled on this photo taken on Mother’s Day, another reason I’m feeling lucky today!

Finally Home

They say a photo is worth a thousand words…

Someday I’ll get back to farming, today though, this is more than enough.

Christmas comes Early at the Frketich House

The day started like any other, wake up, shower, eat breakfast…then hang out with Hoot during his last few hours of being an only child. Did he have any idea what was coming when Matt and I headed for the door? I doubt it very much!  But will he be a good big brother? I have no doubt! So I am pleased to introduce our newest addition to our Frk house, Davor Matthew.

He showed up at 4:31pm on Thursday December 10th. Weighing in at 7 lbs, and 19.5 inches.   We are all doing great and as you can see on the photo Hoot is doing just fine with this whole life changing event…actually that’s a bit of a fib. Here’s a photo that captures a more accurate story…  Life is sure good with another everyday miracle named Davor!  Happy photo Friday folks!
